My Role

Led the end-to-end design and development of Mintoria's groundbreaking AI-native, mobile-first web application, establishing a robust stablecoin-powered banking platform. This comprehensive project spanned the entire technology stack, from Azure infrastructure to the intricate frontend and backend systems.

A key achievement was the seamless integration of blockchain functionalities leveraging Bridge.xyz, enabling secure and efficient stablecoin transactions. This project demanded a deep dive into decentralized finance while maintaining a user-centric and highly performant application.

Key Contributions & Technologies

• Full-Stack Development: Architected and built scalable solutions across the frontend (Angular, Angular Material, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Reactive Programming) and backend (Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Cloud Infrastructure: Leveraged Microsoft Azure for resilient and performant cloud-based infrastructure.
• Blockchain & Web3 Integration: Successfully integrated blockchain capabilities with Bridge.xyz, driving the stablecoin banking features.
• Authentication: Implemented secure user authentication using Auth0.

Technologies Used

The Challenge

The client's monolithic application was struggling with scalability issues during peak usage, with frequent downtime during traffic spikes. The tightly coupled architecture made it difficult to implement new features without risking system stability.

My Role

As the technical lead for the migration project, I designed the microservices architecture and led a team of 8 engineers through the transition. I established best practices, defined service boundaries, and implemented the core infrastructure.

Solution Approach

• Conducted domain analysis to identify logical service boundaries
• Designed event-driven architecture using message queues for inter-service communication
• Implemented containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Established CI/CD pipelines for independent service deployment

The Challenge

A security audit revealed multiple critical vulnerabilities in the client's mobile banking application, including insecure data storage, insufficient encryption, and potential man-in-the-middle attack vectors. The app needed comprehensive security enhancements without disrupting the user experience.

My Role

As the security lead, I conducted the initial threat assessment, designed the security architecture improvements, and implemented key protections. I worked closely with the mobile development team to integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle.

Solution Approach

• Implemented certificate pinning to prevent MITM attacks
• Enhanced data encryption both in transit and at rest
• Redesigned authentication flow with biometric support and hardware-backed keystores
• Introduced runtime application self-protection (RASP)
